Inspection Services

Routine electrical testing is only one part of a good generator maintenance program. Many parts of the generator can be periodically checked or even continuously monitored in service, depending on the instrumentation installed on your unit. It is important to observe the operation of the unit and be alert to any changes in performance, vibration levels, noise level / nature, or operating temperatures. If you have any concerns about your unit's performance, I would be happy to discuss them with you.

Periodically, the generator should be completely disassembled in order to perform a comprehensive internal inspection. A trained and experienced generator specialist, from Generator Consulting Services, LLC can identify subtle signs of deterioration in the condition of your machine, that might not be obvious from electrical test results. This will allow you to take corrective action while problems are still minor.

You will appreciate the professionally prepared report, complete with digital photos, prepared by Generator Consulting Services, LLC. It is more important than ever that the inspection results be carefully documented in a comprehensive report. With the personnel and plant equipment turnover brought on by deregulation, you can't rely the memory of plant personnel in planning future outages. They may be working for someone else, or the generator itself may belong to another power company by then.
